Even though I hesitated in the beginning I thought I'd show you the first image from the LONE RANGER featuring Armie Hammer as the masked hero and Johnny Depp as a strange looking Tonto. Depp has been the leading force getting this troubled movie off the ground. The only reason I decided to post this picture is the fact the movie may include some supernatural forces the two will be going up against.
Gore Verbinski is directing the movie for Disney with a release date set for May 2013. Depp promises to redefine his character Tonto. He kind of looks like Jack Sparrow with makeup on and a dead bird on his head now doesn't he.
