Deadline reports that Irish actress Ruth Bradley has been cast as the female lead in ABC’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST reimagining of the classic Beauty and the Beast tale where an embattled princess, Grace (Bradley), discovers an unlikely connection with a mysterious beast, Shiro (Darius Campbell), a mercenary bodyguard.
The pilot will be directed by Yves Simoneau from a script by Jon Steinberg.
