Blu-ray Review: A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS

It's been over three years since Harold and Kumar's last adventure and now they're back in A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS. These two get into more crazy situations than you'd believe, including getting claymated this time! I thoroughly enjoyed this Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack (Extra Dope Edition)

Ok, so it's been years since Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) have seen each other and they've grown apart. Harold has settled down and is enjoying the family life while Kumar has pretty much stayed the same or maybe gotten a little worse, stoner mischief and mishaps follows this guy everywhere he goes!

So how do these two old friends meet back up? A mysterious package is mistakenly delivered to Kumar but is meant for Harold so Kumar and his new friend set out to deliver it. What happens next is the wildest adventure these guys have had so far. Mishaps include over-the-top Christmas tree drama and the impossible attempt to replace it, claymation like you've never seen before, a wild party, accidentally shooting Santa Claus and plenty of pot smoking madness, oh and did I meant Neil Patrick Harris? Yes, NPH is back too! It's the mysterious package that gets these two old stoner buddies back together, a special gift from Santa himself! Ultimately Harold learns a valuable lesson in friendship and decides to stop taking life so seriously, thanks to his stoned pal Kumar.

What can make this movie any better? The supporting cast is the perfect addition and adds the shine to an already awesome team. Tom Lennon plays Harold's new friend and is a hilarious stand out, not only in the movie but the freaking awesome special features!  Danny Trejo shows up as Harold's intimidating father-in-law who always has this look in his eyes like he's going to kill Harold, even franchise vets Eddie Kaye Thomas and David Krumholtz return in this go around. Rounding out the awesome cat are  Paula Garc├ęsDanneel Harris, Elias Koteas, ,and Patton Oswalt

Bottom line is if you loved the first two adventures of Harold and Kumar then you'll really enjoy this third outlandish entry! This Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack is available on February 7th and you can order it HERE. 3.5/5
