Following up the mid-season return, Evan breaks in to hives and tries to hide it from Paige, worried that she will think it’s because of wedding jitters. Part of him is afraid to admit this himself. He loves her with all of his heart and wants to spend the rest of his life with her, but he knows that his life is going to change and this is a big step. He just doesn’t want to give her any doubts. Still, dealing with this and hiding it from her becomes more complicated than he anticipated.
Jack and Divya clash on trying to diagnose a band whose members all have similar symptoms. It becomes a heated drama with betrayal and admitting their true feelings when it turns out a couple of the band mates broke the golden rule to never have relations within a fellow band member. This leads them to think it could be sexually transmitted between them, but this just doesn’t seem to add up. There’s something that they’re missing. Jack and Divya are just having trouble on figuring out exactly what that is. Divya is following her instincts, but Jack thinks that she is too afraid to make a mistake; to miss even the smallest detail or possibility of something that could have happened that she is just trying everything.
Some Pig deals with a lot of intense situations and highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the characters. As is characteristic of the show, it is overall light and fun even with some much more serious situations going on; it’s a mix that works for the show and I’m sure is at least partially what fans tune in for.
