The CW Officially Orders GREEN ARROW Pilot With Shorter Title

THR reports that The CW has now officially ordered a pilot for GREEN ARROW, which will use the shorter title ARROW, revolves around the hooded superhero, a wealthy playboy by day who secretly saves the city by night using his enhanced arrows.

The pilot comes less than a week when we told you it had landed at the network.  The hourlong drama is a modern retelling of the legendary comic book character spearheaded  by Green Lantern duo Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, who will executive produce and pen the project alongside Fringe co-EP Andrew Kreisberg.  Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television are bringing the pilot to life.

I'm stoked about another comic book character coming back to The CW, are you?
