THR reports that ABC has picked up Shawn Ryan's futuristic pilot 'LAST RESORT' and director Martin Campbell has signed on to direct. Resort is written by Karl Gajdusek and Ryan.
Last Resort revolves around the crew of a U.S. nuclear submarine who, after ignoring an order to fire nuclear missiles, wind up being hunted and escape to a NATO outpost where they declare themselves to be the world’s smallest nuclear nation.
Sounds pretty interesting doesn't it.
