THE UNDYING tells  the story of Dr .Barbara Haughton (Robin Weigert) who falls for a Civil War ghost (Anthony Carrigan) that takes over a dead patient's body.

At first it's a typical ghost story romance until the ghost's past comes back revealing his violent past.  Secrets, betrayal and lies make up The Undying.  The acting is great in the movie with an impressive supporting cast including Wes Studi, Jay O. Sanders and Sybil Temtchine but the story or this talent couldn't save this movie. A really annoying thing about the movie is the background music, sorry it's just bad to me.

There are a few twists in the story that are good but that's about it for this one. Watching Carrigan's double identity is the highlight of the film, especially at the end when both identities are battling it out.

Bottom line is if you're looking for a ghost story on DVD to watch then check this out at your own risk. The Undying isn't all that good but not the worst I've seen either. The movie is out now if you want to check it out. 2.5/5
