Concept Art From The Wachowskis’ CLOUD ATLAS
It seems like The Wachowskis have been working on CLOUD ATLAS forever and a year now but finally we are beginning to see a few things from the movie. What you see here is some concept art from the film that tells six stories that span multiple continents and centuries.
The Wachowskis co-direct with Tom Tykwer with Halle Barry, Hugh Grant, Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon,Hugo Weaving, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, and Jim Sturgess playing multiple roles in the film set in “Seoul, 2144.”
Here's the Synopsis from the book by David Mitchell:
A reluctant voyager crossing the Pacific in 1850; a disinherited composer blagging a precarious livelihood in between-the-wars Belgium; a high-minded journalist in Governor Reagan’s California; a vanity publisher fleeing his gangland creditors; a genetically modified “dinery server” on death-row; and Zachry, a young Pacific Islander witnessing the nightfall of science and civilisation — the narrators of Cloud Atlas hear each other’s echoes down the corridor of history, and their destinies are changed in ways great and small.
