STAR TREK Sequel Will Be In 3D And A Release Date Has Been Announced!
Paramount has announced that J.J. Abrams' untitled STAR TREK sequel will be shot in 3D and has set a release date for May 17th, 2013.
The top-secret sequel is co-written by Abrams along with Lost‘s Damon Lindelof, and of course Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci who I consider one of the dream teams in film today.
All of the main cast members will be returning and that's a good thing! I'm so curious to see what they do with this and the ST universe because they've already turned it upside down. i predict this one could be even bigger at the box office than Abrams' reboot.
