NBC Gives GRIMM A Full Season And More

One of my favorite new shows of the season is GRIMM on NBC. The  Friday night show has become NBC's #1 new show even beating out The CW's Supernatural and Fox's Fringe and now NBC has order ed the back nine to give the twisted fairy-tale series a full-season plus it will  have an episode air on Thursday December 8th to see how it fairs and possibly pick up new viewers.

 NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt had this to say;
"We are very pleased to be making a full-season commitment for Grimm. This series is turning the traditional procedural drama on its head and is attracting a loyal following for us on Friday nights. We love where it's going creatively, and we're excited to deliver more episodes to our audience."
Grimm is averaging 6.9 million viewers overall and 2.3/7 in adults 18-49, which has improved NBC's Friday night 9 p.m. time slot "live+same day" by 50 percent in adults 18-49.  The show has also done well with its DVR numbers and has grown 47 percent in 18-49 in Live+7, which is better than any other new drama this fall.

Co-creator David Greenwalt (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and company have a cool new hit on their hands that is helping the struggling Peacock network.Have you check this show out yet?
