MIAMI, FL -- MTI Home Video, the leading film studio for independent filmmakers, has announced the acquisition of HUNTED BY NIGHT, starring international recording artist (currently featured in the song "Tu Cuerpo" with rapper Pitbull) and star of the Telemundo smash novella Mi Corazón Insiste - Jencarlos Canela (Más Sabe el Diablo, Doña Barbara, Pecados ajenos), Al Galvez (Days of Our Lives, Snakes on a Train, I Love Miami, Bait), Sonya Smith (Aurora, Donde Esta Elisa, Pecados ajenos, Cyxork 7), Seth Gordon (Love and Debate, Co-Ed Confidential), and Gabriel Porras (La Casa de al Lado, La Reina del Sur, Donde Esta Elisa). In addition to starring in HUNTED BY NIGHT, Juan C. Bofill (fight/stunt coordinator for Charlie's Angels, Reno 911: Miami, The Subsitute) also wrote and directed the film, which is set for a DVD, VOD and Digital Download release on January 31, 2012.
In the film, three men on a hunting trip in the Florida Everglades happen upon recently dropped bails of drugs worth millions. They must decide whether to be law-abiding citizens, or outlaws - risking everything to cash in. Their decision will take them on a spine-tingling ride, as they are confronted by a cartel that both outnumbers, and out-guns them.
DVD features include: 16:9 widescreen format, English and Spanish subtitles for the hearing impaired, 5.1 Dolby digital surround sound, commentary, behind-the-scenes, and trailers.
