Chromeskull's Robert Hall On Board To Redux CHOPPING MALL

Oh snap I can't wait for this! Robert Hall (Laid to Rest 1 & 2, Firefly) and his Dry County Entertainment team has acquired the right to the 80's robot slasher CHOPPING MALL.  There will be a few changes from the original but one thing for sure, Hall will bring  the gore with him and I'm freaking excited! Horror fans, you have something cool on the way with this remake!

Hall and  Kevin Bocarde will produce and write the redux and . Hall will also direct the flick with lensing to begin in the spring.

Bocarde said the new movie won't be a straight remake;

"It will retain the basic concept of young people trapped in a mall; however, the story will have a darker, supernatural spin,
 Hall shared that he had started in the biz working at Corman's studio;

 "This is an exciting way to pay homage and honor to Roger while also expanding the original film's premise,
The original Chopping Mall was produced by Roger Corman and his wife Julie was centered around a group of teenagers who become trapped in a shopping mall with killer robots.
