Rob Zombie took to his Facebook page earlier to announce that child star Brandon Cruz has joined the always growing cast of THE LORDS OF SALEM as Ted Delta, a local Salem drug counselor. filming has wrapped in Salem and moved back to L.A. but the casting continues for the film. I wonder who's next?
Brandon was a staple of 70's TV appearing in such shows as The Incredible Hulk, Police Story, Kung Fu, Gunsmoke and of course as Eddie along side Bill Bixby in the hit show The Courtship Of Eddie's Father. Add to that a starring turn in the 1976 smash film The Bad News Bears.
Cruz joins Patricia Quinn, Sid Haig, Bruce Davison, Christopher Knight, Barbara Crampton, Ken Foree, Bruce Dern, Maria Conchita Alonso, Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Torsten Voges, Dee Wallace, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, Lisa Marie and Sheri Moon Zombie.
There's also a movie within a movie called FRANKENSTEIN VS THE WITCHFINDER. Here's the cast of this little ditty.
Udo Keir as Matthew Hopkins aka Klaus the Reaper (the hero)
Clint Howard as Carlo Caravaggio (the dwarf)
Dan Roebuck as The Frankenstein Monster (the creature)
Camille Keaton as Doris Von Fux (the wench)
Synopsis:
Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station and, together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster), forms part of the "Big H Radio Team".
A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, "a gift from the Lords". She assumes it's a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords' record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.
Later Whitey plays the Lords' record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.
The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H Team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they're expecting: The original Lords of Salem are returning, and they're out for BLOOD.
