Here's some pretty weird news. Deadline reports that Warner Brothers has picked Ben Affleck to helm Stephen King's THE STAND for the big screen.
Affleck has already shown that he can direct (Gone Baby Gone,The Town) and do it well so why not let the guy do this.
Do all of you remember the mini-series back in the early 90's? I enjoyed it so I say lets do this!
