Fox and Sony Pictures Television are developing a potential half-hour comedy based on ZOMBIELAND. The sleeper hit of 2009 that starred Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone will get a small screen treatment according to THR.
The project will be written by feature scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick with an eye on the 2012-13 season. There was still a sequel in the works for next ear but this series will now replace that.
If handled right I think this could be a huge hit and since they have the same writers on board it probably will.
