What's up my horror peeps! So I was thinking instead of posting a top 10 list for Obscure Horror Movies like I did the last few years on GT I thought I'd post one a day so I can share more movies to you. And I'm counting down from 31 to 1 and yes, the font is mixed and matched on purpose. It's October and we're having some fun!
#31 THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED
Ok, first off this movie is more like a thriller but it has some messed up moments in it so as far as I'm concerned it fits right in with this list.
Anchor Bay did put the movie out on DVD and Blu-ray but I just think it got passed over a lot! If fans will give it a chance they'll enjoy it. Gemma Arterton steals the show, not only is she beautiful but she pulls off the character completely plus she's hot as hell! This is a cool movie!
Synopsis:
On a suburban street, two masked men seize a young woman. They bind and gag her and take her to an abandoned, soundproofed apartment. She is Alice Creed (Gemma Arterton), daughter of a millionaire. Her kidnappers, the coldly efficient Vic (Eddie Marsan) and his younger accomplice Danny (Martin Compston), have worked out a meticulous plan. But Alice is not going to play the perfect victim – she’s not giving in without a fight. In a tense power-play of greed, duplicity and survival we discover that sometimes disappearances can be deceptive…
