DVD Review: SAVAGE

Checking out this 'SAVAGE' DVD it follows the story of Bigfoot and this one is out to get you! Savage takes a different path from what we're used to with the Bigfoot legend and makes us the prey as this thing hunts us down! Take some Firefighters, local police and some campers and watch them all get ripped apart, actually anyone who gets in this massive creatures path gets mangled!

Martin Crove (The Karate Kid) stars as a troubled man who we find out is hunting this creature after they crossed paths when he was a kid leaving him "scarred" for life. Crove is really playing the part in this too, he's as backwoods and rotten toothed as he could get for this role.

Lisa Wilcox (A Nightmare on Elm Street) also makes an appearance in the film along with other potential victims, Shane Callahan, Anna Enger, and Robert Prago.  Watching these people run for their lives as this huge creature hunts them down is fun, I just wanted more of it! The acting is great and the scenery was perfect for this shoot.  The makeup and special effects are all pretty cool and especially the Bigfoot itself looks very real and intimidating, all the way to its beady little "evil" eyes that stare you down!

Bottom line is if you love Bigfoot movies and you're a horror fan who love blood and gore then check out Savage because it blends the two to make a fun watch. the only thing I didn't like about this movie is I wanted more Bigfoot scenes but it is still a fun watch! 3/5
