Deadline reports that Ayelet Zurer has replaced Julia Ormond in Zack Snyder's MAN OF STEEL. The actress will play Lara, Kal-El's birth mother. She'll be paired up with Russell Crowe who's playing Jor-El.
No word on why the casting change took place.
