Deadline reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger has his eyes on the lead role in an indie action thriller called CAPTIVE.
The story follows a wealthy American (Schwarzenegger if he takes the role) who is kidnapped in Brazil and held for ransom as he tries to escape from being held in an armored truck.
Captive has a long ways to go but this could be a strong start for the project.
Look for Schwarzenegger in a much larger role in The Expendables 2 and the big budget western The Last Stand that begins filming in early 2012.
