Deadline reports that Universal Pictures has plans to remake the indie supernatural thriller Phasma ex Machina. Nathan Parker is on board to draft the script and Gary Shore will direct.
The original film (retitled from and literally translating to "Ghost From the Machine") was directed by Matt Osterman and told the story of a man who, after the death of his parents, builds a machine to attempt communication with the spirit world.
