Well, I guess THE SMURFS made enough at the box office for Sony Pictures to green light a sequel. The studio has already given the film a release date of August 2nd, 2013. Isn't that just Smurfy!
The studio said the movie exceeded all of its expectations taking in over $135 million worldwide in only three weeks.
