Jason Mamoa Has Written The Script For CONAN 2

Jason Mamoa is so into his Conan the Barbarian character that he's already written a script for the sequel and is waiting to see if it's accepted. He was recently interviewed by Crave and we have a piece from the interview for you.

CRAVE Online: Are you signed on to do another?
Jason Momoa: I am, as long as people go out and watch, you know what I mean?
CRAVE Online: Yeah. Is there a story you’d like to do for the next movie?
Jason Momoa: I wrote it.
CRAVE Online: Did you really?
Jason Momoa: Yeah, so we’re waiting to see if they’ll accept it.

Mamoa went on about the character saying;

It’s character-adapted, because I really want to get into more of the mythical creatures, you know? We wanted to go there, but havingClash of the Titans, and coming out against that, we wanted to put the budget into some other things… I don’t want to give anything away, but we already have our Conan, really it’s about the villain, what that villain is going to extract from Conan, and where as an actor I want to go with Conan.

 There's a lot of doubters about this Conan remake so here's hoping it's good so maybe Mamoa can get a chance to show how good his writing skills are. Conan the Barbarian opens on August 19th.
