Denis Leary Says His Character Will Return For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Sequels

Even though Captain George Stacy dies in the comic books that doesn't mean he can keep on going in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Denis Leary was recently interviewed by Collider and he had a few things or hints about his character or maybe he's just kidding.


From Collider;

Collider: Are you definitely set for Spider-Man 2 and 3?
Leary: Yeah. I guess they officially announced it yesterday.

Sony actually announced the date for the sequel, that's all.

Collider: Does Captain Stacy have the walking stick, like he does in the comics?
Leary: No. Not yet, anyway.

There you have it or do you? Leary is a joker and he could have been kidding or maybe Captain Stacey will return. There is a funeral scene in the movie but who is it? we all assumed it would be his character and you know what you get when you assume!
