THR reports that ABC has picked up a new project from writer Sheldon Turner based on the classic Jekyll and Hyde story. Turner will also executive produce the series with Jennifer Klein
This series will follow Grant Hyde, a doctor with an eye condition who experiences crazy side effects after attempting an experimental treatment in an effort to try and improve his vision.
When Grant goes to sleep, he becomes Hyde, a fearless individual who is a complete opposite of his mild mannered personality.
It looks like ABC has something cool to rival NBC's Frankenstein project.
