Fright Night Film Fest 2011: Join Guest Of Honor John Carpenter And Many More!


Join guest of honor John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing, Escape From New York) all weekend at Fright Night Film Fest/Fandom Fest. Carpenter’s latest movie “The Ward”  is making its way to horror fans all around the world this year. The Walking Dead will be representing all weekend with the zombies from the hit show appearing. Melissa Cowan, Addy Miller, Keisha Tillis and Brittany Murphy will all be appearing.

Any Star Wars fans out there? Of course there is! Both boba Fett’s will be at Fandome Fest, meet Jeremy Bulloch (The Empire Strikes Back) and Daniel Logan (Attack of the Clones, Star Wars:Clone Wars)
Other awesome guests for the weekend include  Henry Winkler (Happy Days, The WaterBoy, Scream), Edward Furlong (The Crow Wicked Prayer, Terminator 2, Pet Semetary 2)  Michael Biehn (Aliens, Tombstone, Terminator) and Jennifer Blanc  (Dark Angel, The Crow) will be screening their new movie and Biehn’s directorial debut, “The Victim”.

More on the new Fandomfest side of things, there will be a “Revenge of the Nerds” reunion including; Curtis Armstrong, Larry B. Scott, Andrew Cassese, Julie Montgomery, Brian Tochi, Donald Gibb and Robert CarradineJim Kelly and Bob Wall from “Enter the Dragon”. There will also be a Karate Kid Cobra Kai reunion with Billy Zabka and Martin Kove appearing.



C. Thomas Howell (Red Dawn, The Amazing Spider-Man, E.T.) will be hanging out all weekend. Yep, look for Howell in next summer’s “The Amazing Spider-Man”!

Linda Blair (The Exorcist, The Exorcist 2), David Naughton  (An American Werewolf in London) will both be  hanging out with the horror fanatics at Fright Night Film Fest.

Dick Wieand (Friday the 13th Part V)

Tony Cecere (Freddy Krueger double, Ghostface)

A Michael Baldwin (Phantasm movies)

There will also be a “Dark Night of the Scarecrow” reunion which will be for the first time ever and guest appearance including Dr. Giggles himself, Larry Drake.

More great guests include;

Tiffany Shepis (The Frankenstein Syndrome, The Violent Kind, Psycho Street) Shepis will be a part of the world premiere of Psycho Street on Friday night, July 22nd.



Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th films, Hatchet 1 and 2, Exit 33), Hodder is the man behind the mask of two or horror’s iconic legends, Jason Vorhees and Victor Crowley.
