TRON: LEGACY Sequel Set In Motion With New Writer On Board
THR reports that the TRON: LEGACY sequel has a new writer on board. Writer David Digilio has been hired by Disney to scribe the next entry to the revived Tron franchise. Tron: Legacy made over $400 million worldwide so it's not any surprise that the mouse wants to get this project rolling.
Adam Horowitz and Adam Kitsis will not return because they are working on "Once Upon A time" for ABC. It's so early that it's unclear whether Joseph Kosinski would return to the director's chair.
DiGilio is one of Disney's company writers who also wrote Eight Below starring Paul Walker . Digilio has also sold a pitch for post the-apocalyptic sci-fi series to Showtime titled Last H.O.P.E.
