Vin Diesel Teases Yet More Riddick/PITCH BLACK
Straight from the bad asses Facebook page comes more Riddick/Pitch Black teasing and even some Fast 5 aka The Fast and the Furious 5 honorable mentions too! Here's what he added today after a conversation he has with writer/director David Twohy;
It does seem they learned a valuable lesson from the "Riddick" film, even though I liked it it was way too mellow and toned down for this Riddick Uniververse they have created. This time around we will have our beloved R rating back with Riddick on the run from more bounty hunters and facing "trisons" (which are 3 legged bisons) aka mud demons."Heard from DT over the weekend. He is very exc...ited about how well Europe went, and is delivering the next draft of the Riddick script this month. Nice. P.s. Will be talking to DT next week, maybe he can let me show some concept art of Riddick... Peace."

Trailer, Artwork And Synopsis For EXQUISITE CORPSE
This is kind of old news I actually forgot about but here goes anyway!
Exquisite Corpse is directed by Scott David Russell and stars Steve Sandvoss, Nicole Vicius, Guillermo Diaz, Tessa Thompson, and Larry Cedar.
Synopsis:
"Nicholas is one of the most brilliant young neuroscientists at his medical school and is on the verge of a breakthrough. He just discovered a serum that can bring a dead laboratory rat back to life. He should be reveling in this new discovery but has other things on his mind.
He is in love with his long-time crush, Sophia, and has invited her on a weekend trip to a mountain cabin, the perfect setting to express his deep feelings for her. He finally gets up the nerve to tell her how he feels about her, and to his surprise she tells him that she feels the same way. Life just can't get any better.
But Nicholas' elation is short-lived. His world comes crashing down when Sophia goes for a swim and drowns in the lake, taking away his hopes of a future with her. But wait, what about the serum... could it work on a human? He will need to extract oxytocin from another human subject in order test his theory. He invites a prostitute back to his apartment and kills her, and it works. Sophia is brought back to life. She seems okay at first, but not all is well. She has lost a part of her humanity, and it seems that the results of the procedure are only temporary as she dies again after a short time.
In order to keep Sonia alive, Nicholas must kill again and again to keep injecting the serum into Sophia. This vicious cycle only lasts for one day, and they both descend into madness and horror ... until there is only one way out."

SMALLVILLE Renewed For 10th Season!
Smallville gets it's 10th season! This comes as no surprise to me since the struggling CW hs already renewed Supernatural which actually is finishing up it's 5 year story arc and it had already renewed The Vampire Diaries. Some people thought a move to Fridays would finally kill off the show but it has only improved in ratings and the stories have matured and gotten better!

The last I talked about Ridley Scott's Alien 3-D Prequel was way back last year when he confirmed that he signed on to do it.
Now a little bit of news has dropped from art director Roger Christian (Alien, Star Wars). He recently did an interview with ShadowLocked.com and here's what he had to say ;
"Ridley's doing the next Alien in 3D." Christian says." He has a very clear understanding of where this should go. They kind of stopped dead one of the greatest horror franchises there's ever been, and it had legs to go on. So I'm hoping he'll revive another three. The world certainly wants it, and the fans want it - everybody. "

Remember the kid that died in the bath tub in the first Final Destination? Rumor is Chad Donella has joined the cast of Saw VII 3-D. Todd McFarlane Talks New SPAWN Movie
“I’m 80% through the script, I did my due diligence, went around Hollywood,” McFarlane tells the site. “I listened to the pitch from all the big studios, but I just went, ‘nah, I need to make this small and tight and contained.’”
“And if we keep the budget small, they’ll allow me to do all of that," McFarlane continues. "[But] if you blow up the budget ... and I understand that. I wouldn’t hire me, either. But then I have to give it away. Another option is me just financing it myself. That way I can just ... I own all of it.”

ANTHONY HOPKINS To Exorcise THE RITE
New Line's The Rite will star legend Sir Anthony Hopkins and be directed by Mikael Hafstrom who directed 1408. This thriller is based on true events and tells the story of a priest (Hopkins) who performs exorcisms in unconventional ways and a student at the Vatican who ends up battling demonic forces.

WOLVERINE 2 Starts Shooting Next January!
The Wolverine sequel has been set to start filming January 2011 and will take place in Japan, where it should take place!
It looks like we are getting to the gritty here which I love people! this is an adaptation of Chris Claremont and Frank Miller’s classic 1982 comicbook!
