The news earlier today is that Paramount has renewed it's option for creator Max Brooks apacolyptic zombie epic World War Z and as what Brooks describes to FEARnet as;
"half the time and twice the money"This is pretty cool news because we all love the zombies don't we? With Brooks already having a huge following with the zombie fans! He goes on to say;
We still got our director, Marc Forster, who's raring to go. Were all waiting on Matt Carnahan's new draft, which should come in a month or so.Brooks explains why he thinks the zombie popularity has been going string for the last decade and also talks about his love of horror;
"I think the original Dawn of the Dead is probably the best zombie film ever made and continues to be. Because it's such an amazing insight into the baby boomer generation."In the interview Brooks also talks baout his closeness with his dad, his fears and the love he has for his fans and the horror press (which is cool by me)!
