PLANET OF THE APES Prequel Gets A Director

Fox has been trying to get a new Planet of the Apes movie going for  a long time now and today they are one step closer! It looks like director Rupert Wyatt has been hired to head this project with a script penned by Rick Jaffa.

This being a "prequel" will dig deep into how the apes "monkeys" became superior to humans. I havent' read the book this one wil be "supposedly" based on but word is it's awesome so here's hoping we get a really cool movie to reignite this old and beloved franchise!
