This The First Avenger: Captain America casting has become a nightmare for Marvel and director Joe Johnston! Names just keep getting thrown in, now we have an old rumor brought back to life in the name of Channing Tatum who had actually talked about this late last year and now Ryan Phillippe's name is being brought up! These two now join a list of actors who have read for this role,Mike Vogel, Garret Hedlund, Chris Evans, Scott Porter, Chace Crawford, Michael Cassidy and finally John Krasinski who has been the front runner for the role of Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
I like Krasinski in The Office and that's it! I wouldn't mind Phillippe, Tatum, Evans or even Paul Walker for this role!
