Why I Like Transformers

There are many reasons why I like The Transformers.They have been around since I was a kid and I’ve been hooked ever since.Aside from the short lived Go Bots the Transformers brought us “Robots in Disguise” ,a neverending toy line and comic books,and have been around in various forms since the mid 90’s.Transforming from the vehicle and aerial Autobots and Decepticons in the beginning to fighting it out in Machine form,to going back to their home planet of Cybertron and battling it out there moving into the CGI era and turning into the Beast Wars.All over the battle for Energon or the All Spark.All these years we’ve had our beloved Autobot leader Optimus Prime protecting Earth and his fellow Autobots from the Decepticon leader Megatron and his ruthless forces.We move to the 2007 blockbuster which was the timeless battle “transformed” to the big screen and Michael Bay turned my childhood fascination into something “More than meets the Eye”.Now in just a few days the story continues bringing our favorites back,introducing new Autobots and Decepticons we remember from the cartoon.And having a new enemy come into the picture that nobody really knows a whole lot about.The Fallen was one of the Original 13 Transformers created by Primus to battle war against Unicron only having 1 of the 13 turn against Primus and the other 12,with his name lost in time and now simply known as The Fallen.He became obsessed with the darker part of the universe and formed an alliance with Unicron.After their battle The Fallen was sealed and imprisoned in an interdimensional space only to be set free .The Fallen name can also be directed towards Megatron or Jazz who both met their maker(so to speak) in the first movie.How this all turns out we’ll have to wait a few more days to find out,Michael Bay is always full of surprises!I can’t wait!
